African Sunset Birthday Card

Today my baby girl turns 22! I remember her being born just yesterday, and then I blinked and here we are 22 years later! Happy Birthday Sammy!!!
It is also my uncle's birthday today and I'm going to share with you the birthday card I made for him. Having lived in South Africa for many years, I know that he will appreciate this card. I used the Wild About You stamp set designed by Theresa Momber. The back ground paper is from the Gina K. Sundance kit.  The shaped mats are cut using the Elegant Edges cricut cartridges, and the sunset was shaded in using Memento inks and my now very organized sponge daubers :)
I'm busy organizing my clear/cling stamps at the moment but that is still going to take me another couple of days before I can post about that.  I will, however, come back later and share the card I made for my daughter, after she's had a chance to open her card and gifts.

  1. Happy birthday to Sammy and to your Uncle! I know what you mean about how fast children grow up. My son turns 20 in Oct. Time just goes too fast. I love the colors of this card. I know he will love it! Beautiful paper. Great job my friend!

  2. awesome card

  3. I love the card and the edge is very nice. The shape looks a little bit like the one I ordered for us.
You have so nice stamps with quotes(?) Here is is just short things like hapy birthday and so. I have to look to find more in Dutch because I can order english ones but I want the Dutch words.

  4. Beautiful card! Love the yellow and oranges you used. Great job Lena:)

    Peace, Love & Cricut Hugs!
