Need for Speed Birthday

Hello and welcome back. Today I have a teen boy birthday card to share with you. One of my son's friends turned 18 and I thought that this image would be great for a card for him.  It's from a StampinUp! set called Need for Speed.  I used Memento's Teal Zeal to stamp the image to colour match the paper.

The paper is from DCWV ~ if I remember correctly it is called The Guy Stack.  I love this colour and the fact that the paper already has this very masculine embossed pattern. I cut the two little corners with a punch and added some square brads.  I didn't have any in black, so I just coloured four copper ones with a black sharpie.
All in all a quick and easy card that appeals to an 18 year old.
 Can't beat that :-)

  1. Your card is so cool and cute:) Perfect for a teenage boy! Love the stamp and paper you used.

    Peace, Love, & Cricut Hugs!
