CCAYR ~ February Challenge

It's the 1st of February - one month closer to Spring :-)
January has been long and cold!  I'm so ready to say goodbye to it!

Being the 1st of the month, we have a brand new challenge at CCAYR hosted by the Gingerbread Gals.

February Challenge ~ Use Mostly Red
Prize ~  please visit the CCAYR blog

I enjoyed making this card so much! I love this stitching pattern. It goes perfectly well with  my beautiful candle and poinsettia image.  I cut it out 3 times taking a layer away with each cut. Then I adhered all the layers together with foam dots, giving it loads of dimension. Once complete, I adhered the front panel to a 5.5" x 5.5" Cherry Red card base from GinaK.  On the inside, I stamped a sentiment using a stamp from Great Impression Stamps and used copic markers to add a little colour.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed your visit and will play along with us.  You have till the end of the month to link your Christmas project to the CCAYR blog.  Please take a few minutes and visit the our blog to see all the wonderful projects made by The Gingerbread Gals.  And don't forget to come back on the 15th, when the Christmas Belles will post their projects for your mid-month inspiration.

Crafty hugs,
