But have you ever thought about making your own facial scrub with rice ingredients?

Rice contains various minerals and vitamins that are beneficial for skin and hair health. The vitamins contained in it include vitamins C, E, and B1 which can make pores smaller and make skin whiter.

In addition, rice also contains ferulic acid which functions as an antioxidant and is rich in allantonin which is commonly referred to as anti-inflammatory. The content of rice is also able to accelerate the process of exfoliating dead skin cells, so that the skin regeneration process runs smoothly.

Rice scrubs can be made by grinding them into powder. Mix a little water in the rice powder and then immediately use it to rub on the face. Easy, right?

If you want a little variation with this scrub you can add one (or both) of the following ingredients.

  • Backing Soda: But not all skin can be compatible with soda backing, for those of you who have dry skin are advised not to use this mixture.
  • Lemon: contains alpha-hydroxy acids, vitamin C and anti-bacteria. Lemon lemon slowly reduces hyperpigmentation and scars due to it's mild whitening properties. It is also a natural exfoliant which is light and good for removing blackheads.


Besides being used on the face, you can actually use this rice scrub for the whole body skin and even to treat your lips.
